Have Peace of Mind and Inner Calm


In this week's challenge you must Have Peace of Mind and Inner Calm.In today's fast growing technical world, people often spent more time with electronic gadgets ending up with stress and mental illness. It is very much important for us to keep our self away from electronic world and spent some time with nature. Peace of mind is often associated with yogis, hermits or monks, sitting alone in a far of place. The truth is that peace of mind can be attained and enjoyed even while leading a normal, ordinary life. Being true to yourself,reminding yourself not to worry and always be positive, helping the needy are few ways one can do to achieve inner peace and satisfaction

  1. Helps you gain control of your life

  2. Increases focus and a clearer vision of your goals

  3. Increases physical energy and mental concentration

  4. Develops problem solving techniques

  5. Cleanse and purify the body and mind

Peace of mind is a state of mental and emotional balance and calm, free of worries, fears or stress. In this state, the mind is quiet, and you experience a gentle sense of happiness and freedom. Such peaceful moments are not as rare as you may think. You have experienced them at times when you were engaged in some kind of absorbing or interesting activity. Here are a few examples:

  • Being in the company of someone you love.
  • Walking in your favorite place in nature.
  • Being absorbed in reading a book.
  • On vacation, when you experience mental rest and forget about your work and day-to-day-life.
  • In deep sleep, when you are not aware of anything.
  • During conscious deep breathing and meditation
Such activities, and similar ones, take the mind away from its usual thoughts and worries and replace them with an experience of inner peace.


Tips to Have Peace of Mind and Inner Calm:


  1. Take five to ten minutes for a simple seated meditation.

  2. Get enough sleep. Go to bed on time.

  3. Don't be lazy, Walk up early morning.

  4. Go for an early morning walk. Choose any form of exercise like Jog, Gym, Yoga etc.

  5. Take a fresh long bath. Oil bath will certainly relax your mind.

  6. If you are religious pray god.

  7. Listen to light music. Choose your favorite meditation music, Spiritual, melody songs etc.

  8. Plan and prioritize your work for the day. This will avoid mess-up and hesitation

  9. Avoid procrastination, execute work as per plan. This will increase your confidence.

  10. When ever you feel exhausted, take a break. Go out and have a cup of juice.

  11. Keep your environment clean. It could be your home or office desk.
