5 AM Challenge


In this week challenge you must Wake up at 5AM for the next 7 days. Let’s be honest. For most people, it’s not easy to get up first thing in the morning, especially when it’s still dark. But a lot of successful people say, “If you win the morning, you win the day.” Waking up at 5 AM allows you to have some extra time to organize yourself and plan the day ahead. This will allow you to be extra productive during the day. The rules of this challenge are simple: Go to bed at a decent time. Wake up at 5.00 am every single day. Never snooze. Meditate 10-15 minutes immediately upon rising with the Re-Awakening tracks in a sitting or lying down position on the yoga mat.

How do you successfully wake up at 5AM for 7 days straight?:

  1. You start going to bed sooner (by the way, Mark Wahlberg wakes up at 3am and goes to bed at 7pm?In his own words, “I wake up at 3am to work out for 2 hours, 7 days a week (bed at 7pm)”)
  2. In order to go to bed sooner, you must avoid your consumption-based nightly addictions
  3. The first few nights, you may have a hard time falling asleep. Therefore, the first few 5AM mornings, you may be exhausted but that exhaustion will, eventually, lead to better and earlier sleep
  4. When you set an alarm, that alarm should be on the opposite side of the room or in a different room altogether
  5. Once you wake up, you should already know what you’re going to do. Make it easy on yourself: Don’t have more than 3 items on your to-do list
  6. When you get out of bed to turn off your alarm, drink a big cup of water and don’t get back in bed
  7. Put your shoes on, go outside, and get into a new environment
  8. Be active, not passive about waking up Within 5-10 minutes, if you’re active about waking up, you’ll start to feel really good
  9. Have something meaningful to do during your “Morning routine”



How do you successfully wake up at 5AM for 7 days straight?:

  • You’ll have time to connect with yourself, your purpose, and your High Power
  • You’ll have time for personal development and progress toward goals
  • You’ll get into a peak state, which will influence everything else you do that day
  • You’ll have made progress, which will increase your confidence
  • You’ll feel more motivated and increase your standards for everything else you do
  • You’ll sleep better
