In this week's challenge you must Practice better breathing with Pranayama. Prana means life force or breath sustaining the body, Ayama translates as "to extend or draw out." Together two mean breath extension or control. Lack of peace of mind is the biggest issue faced by society today. Life is never perfect some ups and down do happenes. That's why is very necessary to do meditation, pranayam and more. Pranayama exercises focus on balancing, strenghtening, and cleansing of the internal organs. The main function is to eliminate excess carbon dioxide from the body and provide a rich supply of oxygen to the blood. Which in turn invigorates the cells and tissues in our bodies. Additionally, a regular practice of Pranayama helps improve focus and concentration.


What is Pranayama

Few Benefits of Pranayama:


  1. Clears and cleanses the nasal passages, lungs and the entire respiratory system.
  2. Strengthens and improves lung capacity and intercostal muscles (the muscles located right below the rib cage, which aid in breathing).
  3. Bronchial congestion and spasms are removed; consequently, asthma is relieved and virtually eliminated over time.
  4. Helps to drain the sinuses and eliminate accumulated mucus. Cleanses both nostrils.
  5. Helps prevent lungs from being damaged by viruses like the tuberculosis bacilli.
  6. Draws out a large quantity of carbon dioxide from the body and thus purifies the blood and renews body tissues.
  7. Tones up the heart and activates the respiratory system, circulatory system as well as the digestive system.
  8. Makes mind steady and calm, at the same time refreshes and invigorates the mind.
