In this week challenge you must do 30 minutes of yoga every day. Whether you do those 30 minutes of yoga in the morning or break the 30 minutes into three 10-minute yoga sessions when you are having a break from work or other obligations does not matter. The point is to sneak in some yoga in your everyday life! It will make your week so much better.

Here are some of the many benefits of yoga:


  1. You become more mindful of how you treat your body

  2. Better sleep quality

  3. Can help improve flexibility and posture

  4. Can help you stress less

  5. Some types of yoga can help you burn more calories, thus lose weight

  6. Beneficial for your cardiovascular health

  7. Can increase strength

The Weekly Health Challenge is a self-audited program designed to motivate the JCSC Wellness participants in reducing BMI on a weekly basis.

How it works:
1. Each week there will be a new health challenge. You can accept the challenge by accepting the pledge for each challenge. You can only accept a challenge from midnight on Sunday to midnight on Tuesday.

2. At the end of the week, you can declare if you have completed the challenge. You can only mark a challenge as completed from midnight on Sunday to midnight on Tuesday.

3. Every week, the participants that complete the challenge will be recognized on this page.
